The work carried out within the Quarry Bank site has reunited all aspects of the estate and this has
been vitally important to understanding the whole. The Styal estate has a unique position, on the fringe of suburban Manchester and next door to the deprived Wythenshawe Estate.

Now the whole site has the capability of being more thoroughly understood, it has the ability to deliver a truly unique visitor experience for National Trust visitors, volunteers and local people alike. Already it is forging a new community for the estate.
