Initial Consultations RIBA Stage 1

SALT offer an initial consultation to all our clients, free of charge, which enables us to understand our clients ambitions and requirements. We can also use this time to explain in more detail how we can be of assistance, commencing the development of a project brief. We offer advice on proposals, advising on various approvals and consents that may be required as well as advising on funding or land opportunities. On larger projects, SALT are able act as Design Team Leader, collating a team of professionals in various disciplines from structural engineers to mechanical and electrical consultants, and offering a service which incorporates all, giving our client one point of contact. Feasibility Studies RIBA Stage 2

Our services include measured and topographical surveys, which often need to be commissioned prior to proposals being developed. Following surveys and the formation of a brief between ourselves and our client, Stage 2 involves the production of initial proposals and 3D Modelling systems where necessary, to allow us to communicate effectively with our clients and develop appropriate schemes.

Regulatory Approvals RIBA Stage 3

Most of the projects that we are involved in require planning permission, typically if you want to build something new, make a major change to your building or change the use of your building. To find out if your project will need planning permission or hear more about how we can help, contact us through the link below for an informal discussion.  SALT produce, submit all drawing and documentation required by the relevant local authorities to gain planning permission. We work closely with our clients and all relevant consultants and authorities to guide our clients through the planning process effectively.
