SALT will supporting local charity this month as we open our doors again this coming Saturday (17th June) for our monthly Surgery.
This month we will be supporting the charity Cardiac Risk in the Young (CRY).
Every week in the UK at least 12 young people die of undiagnosed heart conditions. Since its formation in 1995, CRY has been working to reduce the frequency of young sudden cardiac death (YSCD). CRY supports young people diagnosed with potentially life-threatening cardiac conditions and offers bereavement support to families affected by YSCD.
For a small voluntary donation the team will be offering advice and guidance on any projects you may be looking to undertake in the future. Everyone is welcome and we're happy for you to get in touch beforehand to arrange a suitable time or just drop in on the day.
As always the SALT Gallery will also be open and will be donating 10 percent of all sales on the day to the charity. There are some fantastic pieces of work on show at the moment as part of the Stef Mitchell Exhibition, alongside some of the other exciting works exhibited by our regular local artists.
Feel free to drop in between 9:30am and 12:30pm to meet with the team and discuss any queries and ideas that you may have, view the exciting works on display, or simply enjoy a coffee and cake.
